PART P

Part P of the Building Regulations was introduced on 1st January 2005. Its aim is to improve the safety and consistency of electrical work done on domestic properties.

 

There is confusion and even lack of knowledge about the affect of Part P on the home owner when electrical work is done in the home.

 

The Building Regulations are a part of British Law and failure to comply can result in a £5000 fine for the home owner.
