A visual inspection is a brief look at easily accessible parts of your wiring system. This may involve turning the power off to look inside your fuse box and behind some of the light switches and sockets.
A visual inspection is not a replacement for a full PIR (periodic inspection report), it is just to give you an idea if such a report might be worth commissioning and if there are any obvious defects that need sorting sooner rather then later.
Some of the items checked include, Correct RCD protection, earth connection to metal light fittings, age/condition of cable. Suitable earth to property etc.
It is not intended as a fault finding exercise. If you are having an issue with your electrical system we will need to be contracted on a faultfinding basis.
